Why was my order partially shipped?
Occasionally, an order will ship in multiple packages. When that happens, you’ll receive separate tracking numbers, and the remaining items will ship as soon as they’re ready—no extra shipping charge.
Common reasons for split shipments
- Inventory timing: One item was ready to go, another needed a short restock or final QC.
- Packaging constraints: To protect materials, we may separate fragile or bulky items into their own box.
- Verification hold (rare): An item might await a quick address/compliance check while the rest ships.
How to track everything
- Go to My Account → Orders → (your order) to see all tracking numbers.
- Each package will update independently with its own scans and ETA.
Billing, promos, and tax
- You are not charged extra for split shipments.
- Free Shipping eligibility is based on the order subtotal after discounts/rewards (> $50) and stays intact even if we ship in parts.
- Sales tax (if any) applies only to Florida ship-to addresses and doesn’t change due to splitting.
When to contact us
- You received one package but tracking for the second hasn’t updated after 3+ business days.
- An item shows “backordered” on your order page and you need an ETA or a substitution.
- You need both shipments held for pickup or want to add Signature Confirmation (before labels are created).
