I’m seeing an error at checkout—what should I do?
Most checkout issues are quick fixes. Try these steps in order:
Quick fixes (often solve it)
- Refresh the page and try again.
- Open a private/incognito window and retry checkout.
- Disable VPN/ad-blockers and any aggressive privacy extensions temporarily.
- Switch browser/device (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) or try a different network.
- Re-enter billing details exactly as they appear on your card/bank statement (full name, street, ZIP).
- Remove and retype your card number, expiry, and CVC—avoid copy/paste.
Common causes & how to fix them
- Address mismatch (AVS/CVC decline): Ensure billing ZIP and address match your statement.
- Prepaid/gift cards: Often fail AVS; use a bank card, ACH, BTC.
- Card limit or bank block: Call your bank to approve the charge, then retry.
- ACH (bank transfer) loop: Use correct bank login, complete the flow without closing the window.
- Bitcoin (BTC): Send BTC to the one-time address, for the exact amount, within the time window.
- U.S. shipping only: Ensure your ship-to is a U.S. address (no military APO/FPO/DPO).
- Autofill weirdness: Manually type address fields; include suite/unit if applicable.
